At the beginning of August this year, during my cruise, I had a major problem with the propulsion system as the propeller caught a fishing line that damaged the shaft bearing rubber. The boat could not move, and I was near the small island of Proizd, in front of Vela Luka. I needed towing to the former Greben shipyard for repairs. After my call, a large EmergenSea RIB arrived from Hvar in about 40 minutes. The team was polite and well-coordinated, so I was quickly towed to Vela Luka and managed to repair the malfunction. It was reassuring to know in such a situation that you can call for help and that it will arrive quickly.
